JOIN THE SHSM program as we experience a UNIQUE FIELD TRIP TO NIAGARA FALLS and CLIFTON HILL AMUSEMENT AREA.
We will be joined by a professional photographer to guide us through street photography and taking great photos of Niagara Falls. |
This year started slowly, but we finished strong!
Project 1: A "space lift" for the gallery space/learning services hallway area on the first floor.
We repainted in school colors (silver and navy blue) and added up-to-date paintings and photography.
Cheyenne (SHSM co-op student) was a wizard with the Cricut machine. She created the vinyl lettering to provide the finishing touches to this project.
Here's the Google Slides we made each day as students invested their time and energy in this important "HAWK SPACE". We renamed the space from "Exhibition Hall" to "Hawk Space" so it would be more inclusive.
Project 2: "Gender-Neutral Bathroom". makeover Special thanks to the WRDSB Equity team for supporting this project with funding for the supplies and paint.
