WELCOME TO JHSS GR. 11 VISUAL ARTS!

This site supports our GOOGLE CLASSROOM

Code:

I will post the Visual Resources, assignments, information, and some documents here (as well as in Google Classroom).

ALWAYS post finished work in the GOOGLE CLASSROOM.  Remember to take pictures of your work to post and to keep as a record of your finished projects.

FOR BEST RESULTS:

1) Take a deep breath!
2) READ THE ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS FULLY!
3) Watch the assigned videos and read the information before you start your own response to the work assigned.
4) ASK QUESTIONS!

It's okay to ask me questions.  You can do this in person, and at my email address at school:
[email protected]

I look forward to seeing what you create this semester!

COURSE OUTLINE posted below (see below in documents).
Welcome to this fun and challenging class!  We will learn the language of Visual Arts through many hands-on projects and integrated learning activities.  You will explore art history through personal research, review colour theory, and the use critical analysis the creative process so you can practise your skills.

You may bring your own school supplies (coloured pencils, etc.), if you wish.  All necessary supplies to complete this course, successfully, are supplied by us throughout the course.
You may want to use your phone as a learning tool to access colour theory, take photos of your work, and use software functions to support your learning.  Remember that any equipment/technology you bring to school is used by you, at your own risk.   Your phone may not be used to COPY/Plagiarize other people's work whether it is in text and/or visual format.  You must use your own ideas and imagination to create works that express your own thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
Thanks, Ms. Bonza
