Still Life Photography AND LIGHTING!!!
The lighting chart assignment comes FIRST!!! - this will help with the success of your still life and subsequent portrait assignments.

The goals for these assignments are to reinforce camera skills connected to shallow/greater depth of field, shutter speed, 
ISO. It is important to consider both composition and light. Your photographs must be new photographs.

Still life photography is a genre of photography used for the depiction of inanimate subject matter, typically a small group of objects. It is the application of photography to the still life artistic style. An example is food photography.
